On 22 February 2022 we stopped being NOAH Web Marketing and became Selva Digital. New name, new colours, same idea: get business owners through the digital jungle without the mystery.
The logo is the least interesting part of that. What is worth writing down is the handful of decisions we made at the same time, because we have not moved on any of them since, and they explain most of how we work.
One price, agreed before we start
A fixed number for a defined result. If we are quicker because we know what we are doing, that is our margin. If we are slower, that is our problem and not your invoice.
It is the decision that costs us the most and the one we would defend hardest. Hourly billing rewards the wrong thing.
Build it rather than present it
You get a plan. It is a page long and it exists so that something can be built from it. Nobody here produces slide decks for a living.
Say it in plain language
If we cannot explain in one sentence why something matters to your business, we do not recommend it. That rule kills a lot of ideas that would have been profitable to sell.
You own all of it
Domain, hosting account, code, data, accounts. If you ever want to leave, you take everything and we hand over the keys. We would rather be a phone number you keep calling than a lock you cannot get out of.
Staying small on purpose
We grow slowly, and sometimes we stop. Three people who all know your setup is worth more to you than a bigger team where nobody does. It also means we say no to work, which is uncomfortable and correct.
Why any of this matters to you
Not because our principles are interesting. Because they tell you what you are buying: a fixed price, a person who picks up, and no dependency on us.
If that sounds like the way you want to work with someone, the first conversation is free and there is no deck.
